My name is Jimmy Hickey, and I run both Findlay Hats, NW Tiny Homes, and Seattle Uprising. Supporting Uprising is personal to me. Growing up, the original incarnation of this team inspired me, and its players were people I looked up to. When we re-formed the team in 2011 to compete in the NPPL Pro Division, Uprising became a core part of my identity.
As I’ve grown and built my businesses, I’ve been fortunate to be in a position to help support Uprising and keep this legacy alive. Representing the Pacific Northwest on the national stage is an honor, even though running this team is far from a sound financial decision. It’s a passion project fueled by love for the sport, this team, and the community that surrounds it. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Our home field in Snohomish, Washington, DoodleBug Sportz provides the best paintball facilities in the Pacific Northwest. They’ve been a key part of Uprising’s journey for years, with many of our players growing up in the DBS camp and advancing through their ranks. Supporting both advanced and new players, DBS has been instrumental in fostering talent and growing the sport. We’re proud to call them home and grateful for their continued support.
We are excited to announce our partnership with Kinetic Paintball for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Uprising will be the first professional team to represent Kinetic on the NXL Pro Field, wearing their jerseys and pants known for their quality and performance.
In 2024, Uprising players tested multiple brands and unanimously chose Kinetic as the gear we wanted to wear.
